I like to meet with you and discuss the project, including the type and size of the house you want to build. We can also work via phone and email if meeting in person is not practical.
Initially, I will draw the Floor Plan and ask you to edit and redline the plan. We will add, delete, or change the Floor Plan until it is exactly what you want.
Once you approve the Floor Plan, the Foundation Plan, Roof Plan, and Elevation drawings are prepared. I prepare a Site Plan placing the house to scale on your property.
House plans include 5 sets of the following custom CAD drawings: Site plan, Foundation plan, Floor Plan, 4 Elevation drawings, and Roof plan. All drawings are printed on 24" x 36" paper.
I typically charge $0.70 per square foot of area under roof. This can vary depending on the complexity of the project. The structural engineer charges $0.30-.40 cents a sq ft to seal the drawings.
